Trstenik is one of the oldest settlements on the penninsula Peljesac.The crystal clear sea is washing the shores of the unique penninsula and the village of Trstenik. The small town Trstenik is surrounded by lovely pine woods and evergreen plants.The nature and silence, the large number of bays and beaches and the kindness of the natives have already been seen by many travelers. For this reason it pulls the people back from near and far again and again to this place. By the ATC Dubrovnik Trstenik is connected with the whole world.
The favourable traffic conditions also contribute to this. Trstenik
has a port which belongs to one of the livest on the southern side
of the penninsula Peljesac. Trstenik lies between the village Orebic
and Ston and is moreover connected to island Mljet. On the island
Mljet there are many landing stages for watercrafts. There is a
mountain over the village named "Cucin". There are mufflons and wild boars in this area. There is also the possibility to perform the hunting sport beside the possibility of fishing. The diurnal excursion to the national park of the island Mljet represents a special attraction. Besides this, there is the possibility to attend a visit to the island of Korcula and Lastovo or to make an excursion to the nearer surroundings of Trstenik.
